If you’ve found your way to this page, you may be beginning a journey of understanding your own neurotype, or you may be seeking support for someone you care about. Increasingly, people are learning what it means to move through the world with a nervous system that experiences and responds to life in a unique way.
You might be exploring whether you identify with an ADHD or autistic neurotype — a meaningful and often liberating journey that can also bring uncertainty, questions, and emotional ups and downs. I aim to support you through this process by offering ADHD and Autism Spectrum assessments for adolescents and adults.
I work from a neurodiversity-affirming approach, which means the assessment process is collaborative and centred on self-discovery. Alongside understanding areas of difficulty, we also explore the unique strengths and capacities that come with your neurotype. My hope is that the assessment journey is not only informative and clinically sound, but also validating, empowering, and deeply healing.
Assessment Process
Whether you are seeking a formal assessment that results in a clinical report, or a more informal process of exploration, confirmation, and understanding of your neurotype, the assessment process can be tailored to meet your needs.
The process usually begins with an initial consultation, where we explore your questions, concerns, and experiences, and consider whether there are neurotype markers that indicate a fuller assessment may be helpful. This is followed by the completion of relevant assessment tools and a series of sessions in which we review and make sense of the findings together.
The process concludes with a final feedback session, where we integrate everything and discuss the outcome. If you choose to receive a formal clinical report, this will be provided during the final session.
